Our walk leader, researcher Rohan DSouza, will talk to us about the series of reservoirs that were created to harvest rainwater in Bangalore, using the example of the 1100-year-old tank and settlement at Kudlu village. Join us to walk along Kudlu kere's ancient tank bund and to see its old sluices and overflow weirs. Rohan will also talk about land-water connections in tank systems, and the Neergunte community and their role in maintaining the canals associated with these tanks.
