Q: Where can you see the world’s first motor car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen? A: In Bangalore!
On the occasion of World Automobile Day, which falls on 29 January, Bangalorean and vintage car collector Dr Ravi Prakash has kindly agreed to throw open his amazing collection to us. Among the gems in his collection are one of the world’s few surviving Benz Patent Motorwagens, a car belonging to Kuvempu, and many other beauties including cars belonging to royalty and various dignitaries from around India.
