IFA takes pleasure in presenting the Project 560 Found Spaces Festival, showcasing six projects that engage with publ ic, found spaces in the city. It is a culmination of months of hard work of all our grantees across the city. This is the first time IFA is supporting an initiative of this nature and we hope that it becomes an occasion for all our well wishers, grantees, friends, donors and staff members to meet and experience a city that has always nurtured arts and culture in all its myriad forms.
The festival kicks off on June 5th, with film screenings and panel discussions at the Rangoli Metro Art Center auditorium on M G Road. Find out what our grantees have to say about their project, while in conversation with experts from the field including Dilawar Ramdurg, Vikram Hathwar, BS Ramamurthy, Suresh Jayaram, Lawrence Liang, Deepa Subramanian and Lina Vincent Sunish. Also listen to Nikhil Chopra, C Basavali ngaiah and Maya Krishna Rao debate the relationship between performance and space largely from the point of view of their own engagements and practices.
On June 6th, 7th and 8th, our grantees are staging artistic interventions all across Bangalore, from Kamaraj Road to Basavanagudi, Bellary Road to Wilson Garden, and Whitefield to K R Market. PLEASE SEE OUR COMPLETE SCHEDULE. We hope you will catch at least one performance, closest to your home.
What's more, we're also very happy to announce the launch of our first-ever app! The Project 560 app allows you to stay updated about the various performances scheduled to take place across the city and tells you about the six Project 560 grants. How can you say no to these smiling faces?
