The Squirrel’s Birthday - Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th @ 15.30 & 19.30

Squirrel's Birthday The ‘Squirrel’s Birthday’ is about the squirrel deciding to celebrate his birthday with his friends. The squirrel writes letters in his own handwriting on pieces of bark to all his friends right from the whale in the ocean to the firefly, inviting everyone for his birthday. Based on stories written by Dutch writer and poet, Toon Tellegen, ‘Squirrel’s Birthday’, uses puppetry and miniature theatre to bring his story to life.

Schnawwl Theater, Mannheim, Ranga Shankara and Figurentheater, Switzerland join hands to present The Squirrel’s Birthday, directed by Andrea Gronemeyer and starring Arundhati Nag.

Based on stories written by Dutch writer and poet, Toon Tellegen, Squirrel’s Birthday uses puppetry and miniature theatre to bring the story to life.

This charming piece for 4 to 6-year-olds premieres at the AHA! International Theatre for Children Festival 2014.
