Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts presents Koodiyattam, the country’s oldest theatre performance, from Kerala
With an attested history of over 1000 yrs it is officially recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. There are very few practitioners of this in India and we are fortunate to have got the consent of one of the living legends of this art form- Padmashri G Venu and his team to perform in Bangalore.
