Einstein runs into Picasso in a bar in Paris.
And it's not the beginning of a joke. Tahatto presents Steve Martin's
highly-celebrated comedy play, Picasso at the Lapin Agile. It focuses on a
chance encounter between Albert Einstein and Picasso, both at the brink of
greatness, and in the prime of their youth. And the historic location for the
encounter happens to be The Lapin Agile, a quaint cabaret/bar - a regular haunt
for a bunch of quirky, yet lovable characters who have no idea what's about to
hit them. There are arguments on the meaning of beauty, the process of creation
in art and science and predictions for the future. Abundant in characteristic
Steve Martin wit, this evening in Paris is going to change how we see the word
'genius'.
