Parody on stage! A Little Calm before the Storm was first introduced to Bangalore audiences in 2016, in the form of a rehearsed reading as part of our ongoing project German Spotlight. This initiative, in association with Sandbox Collective, seeks to popularise the vast Goethe library of contemporary German plays available in translation.
Vandana Prabhu was inspired by the success of the reading to develop the play into a full-fledged production, which will premiere at the Deccan Herald Theatre Festival 2017.
