SIC, a W.I.P - Wednesday 22nd & Thursday 23rd
The play takes place in the doorways and shared hallway of three neighboring apartments. Theo -the amusement park music composer, Babette - the ever broke writer and Frank - the queer, aspiring auctioneer trudge through the biting emptiness of big city life. They discuss, flirt, argue, share their dreams and plan their future with deep hopefulness and abject despair. A bittersweet catalog of mistakes, regrets & opportunities missed unfolds as three lives collide in one common corridor.
P.S.I Dont Love you - Tuesday 21st @ 19.30
A romantic comedy in English, this play revolves around characters brilliantly common and distinct at the same time. Get ready for your "This is so me!" moment. Written and Directed by Abhishek Iyengar, the play revolves around ‘A couple’ everyone envies! They have everything in common; just the perfect families, perfect age and head over heels in love probably a match made in heaven. On their way to a pompous marriage, a customary mushy honeymoon, jubilant households and "A Happily Ever after", hell breaks out! The lady gets a brainwave from the same heavens! A strong jolt, a sudden-strong-stable realization of perfection being the ultimate flaw, calmness being the utter boredom and an impulsive compulsion for an adrenaline rush. Embarking on this journey sans an adventure seems such a cliché. Not something "every" girl dreams of.
The Art of Lesbianics - Friday 17th @ 21.00

For a delightful evening where you can chill, de-stress and laugh your cares away, come to "Gill, Tandonness and the Art of Lesbianics."

Robinson Crusoe - Saturday 11th @ 19.30 & Sunday 12th @ 15.30 & 19.30
Two soldiers… two different languages…one roof… ocean all around... Friendship triumphs!
Robinson and Crusoe is a story that strikes a chord with all of us – two soldiers from different camps land on a floating roof amidst the ocean, after their planes are shot. While they are grateful to be alive in a situation like this, they realise that they have each other’s company – a situation they don’t know how to deal with!
Wary and intolerant of each other in the beginning, they slowly build a bond, and it is a sad good-bye when they finally leave for their homelands. The play lays bare the futility of war, the loneliness it imposes on the reluctant soldiers, and the triumph of human spirit in the end.
Filled with comedy, energetic action and fantastic stunts of the kind not seen before, the play is a delight to watch while leaving us with a heartwarming message – a message that says friendship is above everything.
Robinson and Crusoe has seen more than 50 shows so far and has won praise from audiences and critics alike. It is directed by Gracias Devaraj, an actor-director from Germany.

"Fun? Definitely. Accessible? Completely, even if you didn't speak the language," said Lyn Gardner of The Guardian, UK in praise of Atul Kumar's Piya Behroopiya that was a part of the Globe to Globe Festival of Shakespeare's Globe.
Piya Behroopiya is Shakespeare's Twelfth Night adapted in Nautanki style. Replete with palpable and contagious energy from the cast and live musicians, this laugh riot has seen packed houses consistently all over cities and towns of India. Audiences have gone back many times over to watch this fantastic musical and mouthed the unforgettable one liners along with Orsino or Viola. The laughs stay with you and so do the melodious tunes and you find yourself humming the songs days after the show.
You have to be the crème de la crème to be invited to perform at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and Atul Kumar and his team proved to be more than a fitting choice from India.
